You may also notice that the little text under the title has changed, and that now the comic updates every Monday. There are a few reasons for the change. Updating multiple times a week just wasn't working for me, so I have officially cut it down to once a week. I switched to Monday because most of my traffic has been on Mandays anyway, so it makes sense to update then. I'm really going to work hard on getting back to updating this thing regularly. The good news is that this means that you should have more regular updates. And as always, the RSS feed will keep you all current. Let's pretend that this means that I'm getting them all out of my system so that there won't be anymore later in the year. Not that there's much chance of that, but we can still pretend all the same. I, as always, want to thank everyone who stuck around through the hiatus. I'm thinking I'm going to make some change to the "update schedule" soon. It won't be set to less than once a week, that much I am certian of, but I'm thinking the day(s) needs to change. I'll let you all know what's up once I figure it out. Oh, it's still all those famous webcomic artists and not me? Never mind then. Two things I want to mention tonight. First is that I've decided to participate in NaNoWriMo this year. Is it because I have too much time on my hands? Is it because I want to torture myself? Is it because I feel I need yet another thing to distract me from the comic? Not really. Mostly it's because I want to get something done and feel like I accomplished something. And if I make it through it this will, then I will. This shouldn't affect you guys too much. I'm afraid to say November was looking to be light on updates anyway what with a 5 day trip to the SpaceVision conference and Thanksgiving. That's not to say there won't be updates in November, but probably only 4 or 5. Still better than nothing though, right? Anyway, what this also means for you is that as I write the story, I'll post the work for you all to read. I'm still thinking up the story, but it's likely going to be something involving a physics grad student and the end of the world, so you might enjoy reading it. Perhaps the best way to think of it is as the story being my way of making it up to you for the sparse updates. I also wanted to let everyone know that new Snow Patrol Album is quite good. I mention this mostly because I've been highly disappointed in every album released by every band/artist I like for the last year, so this is a welcome change from that. |
