Yes, the comic is still alive. Yes, I will be making more of them. No, I am not dead. I'm not going to give reasons, excuses, or promises. I will however, thank those of you who are still checking the site for being patient.
The plan is to resuming biweekly updates starting right now. There will be a few more vacation mode comics until I get over the whole "holy crap I have homework in 6 classes" shock. No word on how long that will be, but you'll know it's over when you see the next high quality one.
Finally, I want to make sure to point everyone at the RSS feed I added to the site. This should help you all be able to check up a little easier in case I disappear again. If you run into any problems with it, please let me know over in the shoutbox so I can (hopefully) fix it.

Apologies to whomever tried to view the site during a particular 6 hour time frame today. I'm working on creating a new website for SEDS and a few of the files (namely the header, footer, and css) from that project got mixed into the Brightly Wound files, creating chaos. It's since been remedied though, and I hope no one was too inconvenienced by the error.

Happy 4th of July to all you Americans out there. A belated Canada Day to all my Canadian readers. Happy, umm, Wednesday, to everyone else. It may be interesting to note that this is my 74th comic, on the 4th day of the 7th month (7/4). Perhaps that makes this comic even more holida themed, or perhaps it just means that I'm a raving lunatic who reads far too much into coincedental numbers.
In either case, the next update will be Friday, the 6th. Then another on Sunday.
