I see it there, just sitting under the numerator… Its I's staring, mocking me. And I know it's not completely real, but I can't help but get the irresistible urge to multiply by the complex conjugate. I know what you're feeling, but trust me on this. You can rationalize the denominator all you want, but that doesn't make it right.
